BOB DOCHERTY IS AN ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT & CTO WITH MORE THAN 40 YEARS I.T. EXPERIENCE… 
Mainly within Central Government and has held senior positions with several Systems Integrators, including EDS, Capgemini & Fujitsu; comfortable within the technical community or with senior business representatives to Board level. 
 
Specific interests in Governance & Assurance and IT Systems (Legacy) transformation. 
Experienced negotiator with significant contractual & commercial knowledge. 
Experienced manager of people, mentoring & motivating skills. 
Budget and P&L responsibility for £15m+. 
Experienced presenter at International Conferences. 
Bob’s IT journey started when he moved from mainstream Tax work with the Inland Revenue to it’s expanding IT (DP) branch 
 
Bob followed the normal path from programmer, through systems analysis & design to senior management/leadership positions and over the last 15 years back to technical leadership roles at CTO level and leading several technical transformation programmes. 
 
 
Having decided to retire from life with major Corporations and spend more time in his Florida condominium he also began setting up and running a services and consultancy company with a group of talented friends, that company being QTM. 
 
Bob has been married to Frances for over 40 years with a son, Ciaran, also now part of the QTM team. Passionate football supporter, travelling most weekends to Glasgow where he and Ciaran are season ticket holders at Celtic, following both Celtic & Scotland all over Europe; there are 54 European countries recognised by UEFA, add to that Vatican City, of those 55 Bob has visited 44 to watch football. Other interests are reading; music, voracious collector of music, Jazz; Rock; Country; Blues; Folk & Prog Rock. Also an extensive traveller, not just for football but for concerts too.
